Romanov Costumes Part 2

Hey everyone! Today I get to present my masterpiece: Alexei’s uniform. I call it  my masterpiece because I accomplished it without a pattern in less than three days!! It turned out exactly the way I wanted it to.

It is a Russian military uniform from World War I. It is dark green in color and comes down to about mid thigh. The sleeves are baggy and end in cuffs with two buttons. It has a collar, three buttons down the front, and two pockets. the pants are baggy, button up and become very narrow just below the knee to fit into tight knee-high boots.

Note: He will be getting tight fitting knee-high boots.

I will also be making him a military officer’s hat like the one Alexei has in the first picture. Hope y’all enjoyed the pictures.
